My name is Roan Craig & I am an autistic boy aged 8. Until the age of 5, my future looked very bleak as I had no speech & was still in nappies. My parents were at a loss as to what to do to help improve my standard of living & then they discovered Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) My life has changed dramatically since I first began my ABA programme in December 2005. I am now toilet trained, I can communicate with my family & I have a better understanding of life.  I work everyday with my therapists Jennie, Ian & Rachel who have enabled me to be more independant, communicative & more interactive with my brother Matthew & sister Olivia whom you can see in the photos of my family.  These milestones I have reached & continue to exceed are primairily down to the ABA without which my life could have been very different.

I know this treatment is very expensive & I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported my parents & I in all our fundraising events to date.  We are humbled by the generosity of all my friends in Larne & beyond who have supported me in my plight. Without your kindness I would never have made the vast gains I have made to date so thank you very much.

Please keep up to date with all up & coming events & it would be lovely if you would leave your name in my guest book with a little comment so I can keep you all up to date with my progress. My speech is coming on extremely well & I have developed an impish sense of humour due to the development in my understanding & also a little help from my brother & sister. Life is so much more rewarding for me now that I understand more of what life is about & how to have fun.

Once again a big thank you to everyone & I hope I can give hope to other autistic children. There is always hope & I am living proof of that. I look forward to hearing from you & thank you for taking the time to visit my website.

Love always

Roan Craig
